"We are actively working in all international forums to increase international pressure on Russia. Tomorrow, September 9, at 11:00 Kyiv time, at the request of Ukraine, Finland, which chairs the OSCE, will convene a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council," the statement said.

Sibiga explained that the meeting would be a response to new massive attacks by the Russian Federation, which resulted in civilian casualties and destruction. The minister noted that the atrocities of the Russian Federation cannot remain unpunished.

"Only decisive and consistent pressure on the aggressor, including through tough sanctions, can force Moscow to stop simulating diplomacy and join in real efforts aimed at ending the aggressive war," he stressed.

He also expressed gratitude to the current head of the OSCE, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, for her principled position in supporting Ukraine and timely response.

As reported by Apostrophe, on the night of Sunday, September 7, the Russian army launched a massive attack on Ukraine. In particular, a 9- and 16-story building was hit in Kiev. Three people died (a 32-year-old woman, a two-month-old child, and a 54-year-old man), and 18 more were injured. A four-story residential building was also damaged in the Darnitsky district.

In addition, information appeared about damage to the government building. The EU ambassador showed on the Internet a Russian Iskander ballistic missile that hit the Cabinet of Ministers building.
