Murder of two students in Vinnytsia region: former teacher charged with suspicion

The National Police have announced suspicion against a 23-year-old man for the murder of two students in the Vinnytsia region.

The police press service reported this.

They noted that within an hour after the crime was committed, law enforcement officers found the perpetrator.

Currently, they are deciding on the choice of a preventive measure for the man. If guilt is proven, he faces life imprisonment.

The press service recalled that on September 10 at 8 o'clock the police received a message from doctors about the discovery of two people with knife wounds on one of the streets of the city of Shargorod. The victims died on the spot from their injuries.

The deceased were minor students of the lyceum, aged 15 and 16.

The attacker was detained in a field 5 kilometers from the crime scene.

He turned out to be a local 23-year-old resident, a former teacher of one of the victims.

Let us recall that, as noted by the Office of the Prosecutor General, the attacker fled the scene of the incident and was subsequently detained .
