In previous deliveries, Ukraine received mainly 155mm howitzer shells, but it also has many 152mm guns.

The Netherlands announced the delivery of 152-mm shells to Ukraine worth over €350 million, which will be allocated from the International Fund for Ukraine. This was announced by the Dutch Ministry of Defence on Thursday, June 13.

They stressed that the exact quantity of 152mm shells and delivery dates would not be disclosed for security reasons.

"But this is one of the IFU's largest orders from the international arms industry," they added.

The Dutch Ministry of Defence points out that in previous deliveries Ukraine received mainly 155mm howitzer shells, but it also has many 152mm guns.

Please note that the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) is a financial initiative created to provide military support to Ukraine in response to the Russian invasion. Established in 2022 by the United Kingdom and Denmark, the fund has attracted contributions from several countries, including Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Iceland, and Lithuania. Australia recently joined the effort with additional funding.

The Fund ensures the efficient allocation of resources to meet Ukraine's most urgent defense needs, enabling the provision of long-term military support while simultaneously maintaining the readiness of donor countries' own armed forces.
