In the Austrian city of Graz, a teenage girl, for religious reasons, was going to carry out a massacre on the Jakominiplatz square, which is an important transport hub of the city.

The girl was taken into custody. Objects prepared by him to commit a crime, as well as propaganda materials of the terrorist organization “Islamic State” were confiscated from the suspect.
Until she admits to preparing the crime and refuses to testify. As noted, a chat history was saved on her electronic device, which clearly spoke of planning a terrorist attack on Jakominiplatz in Graz.
It is known that for this the girl has already prepared weapons – an ax and a knife, as well as special clothes. She photographed all this and sent it via messenger to potential “like-minded people” abroad. The attack was intended to harm the “infidels.”
Islamism, radicalism and hatred of others should have no place in our society,” said Christopher Drexler, governor of the federal state of Styria, about this event.
The investigation is being carried out by the Styrian Office of State Security and Combating Extremism.
According to journalists, Austrian law enforcement officers were helped to prevent bloodshed by colleagues from the EU, who provided them with access to the mentioned chat and message from the detainee. The girl was also found to have video recordings of battles involving ISIS and executions of people.
