In Ulan-Ud, five fires were recorded in the city and suburbs. In Siberia, 41 fires engulfed forests with a total area of 40,374 hectares.

According to the state enterprise Avialisoohrana, there are now 41 fires in the region that have engulfed forests with a total area of 40,374 hectares. The most difficult situation is in the Jewish Autonomous Region (JAO) and Khabarovsk Territory.

In the Jewish Autonomous Region on April 25, a large forest fire was discovered in a hard-to-reach area. The fire covered almost 18.5 thousand hectares, and by April 29 it was contained.

In the Khabarovsk Territory, fire spread to almost 22 thousand hectares in 14 municipalities. Avialisokhrana suggested that local authorities introduce a local emergency regime in the region so that they could quickly “attract additional resources to stabilization.”
