As of 16:00 Sunday, more than 90 military clashes took place on the contact line. Russian troops shelled the Sumy region with artillery, with most of the attacks falling on the Pokrovsky and Siversky fronts.
The Russians fired artillery at the settlements of Sopich, Novaya Guta and Iskryskovshchina (Sumy region). Ukrainian defenders hold their positions, attack the Russians and destroy their equipment.
On the Kharkov front, the activity of Russian troops decreased somewhat. At the moment, 8 military clashes have occurred. The Russians continue to try to break through Ukrainian defenses in the area of Volchansk, Staritsa and Liptsy. Ukrainian soldiers confidently hold their positions, inflicting significant losses on Russian troops and launching their own counterattacks.
On the Kupyansky front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks, and two more are ongoing. The battles took place near Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Berestov and Stelmakhovka.
Fierce fighting is taking place on the Siversky Front. 21 military clashes took place in the areas of Belogorovka, Verkhnekamensky, Razdolovka and Ivano-Daryevka. Another one continues. The Ukrainian military uses available means to suppress Russian offensive capabilities, and sometimes launches counterattacks.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians carried out 13 attacks, in particular in the areas of Vasilyevka, Kalinovka, Klishchevka and Ivanovsky. One is still ongoing.
The Russian offensive on the Pokrovsky Front continues without stopping. They tried 23 times to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Evgenivka, Novoaleksandrovka, Novoselovka, Persha, Severny, Umansky and Netailov. Ten clashes out of the total on this front are still ongoing.
The Russians doubled the number of attacks on the Kurakhovsky front. The number of military engagements increased from five to ten. Another one is currently ongoing.
On the Dnieper front, the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions in the Krynok area four times, but without success. The Ukrainian military is now repelling the fifth attack.
On all other fronts the situation is currently stable.
