A separate 485th separate helicopter regiment is based at the Mozdok military airfield. This is one of the airfields where MiG-31K planes take off.

Ukrainian drones tried to attack North Ossetia, and the target of the attack was allegedly the airfield where MiG-31K and Tu-22M3 aircraft are based. The Russian Ministry of Defense and the head of the republic, Sergei Menyailo, reported this on June 8.

It is noted that one UAV was shot down. According to the head of the region, three drones were flying to the military airfield. According to the Russians, there seem to be no casualties or destruction.

As you know, the Mozdok military airfield is located in North Ossetia. A separate 485th separate helicopter regiment is based there. This is one of the airfields from which MiG-31K aircraft take off, carrying Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
