If Ukrainians are asking the whole world to support democracy, they themselves need to fully commit to democracy, Trump's adviser believes.
US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz said that Donald Trump, who was elected the 47th US President, will urge Ukraine to lower the mobilization age to 18 in order to attract hundreds of thousands of new troops. The advisor said this in a commentary to abcnews on Sunday, January 12.
Voltz, in particular, believes that many people do not realize that Ukrainians can attract hundreds of thousands.
“When we hear problems with morale or on the front lines, look: if Ukrainians are asking the whole world to support democracy, they themselves need to fully commit to democracy,” the adviser added.
Let us recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the authorities are currently not preparing to lower the mobilization age.
