Winter roads ensure their movement by trains and support the timber industry during the cold period. In such areas, there is low traffic intensity, so it is impractical and expensive to completely remove the snow – it is leveled and compacted, forming a cover. Often, on such a surface, the overall controllability of transport is reduced, it can skid on turns. Scientists from Perm Polytechnic University have proposed a method that will make it safer for timber trucks to travel in winter.
